Made to look
good on paper.

The same hand-drawn look across the whole collection — verified against the real species, animal by animal.

For the best result, print at 100% or “actual size” on matte white paper or cardstock.

The final files are prepared in high resolution with clean spacing and carefully balanced placement. We check how the artwork appears at the intended size, not only when enlarged on a screen.

Fine lines need to remain visible, pale watercolor areas must not disappear, and the subject should have enough space to be cut out comfortably.

Questions

Often
asked.

  • Calves are raised communally, with related females called allomothers helping to feed, shade, and watch the calf alongside its own mother. This shared care lets a calf stay closely supervised even when its mother is busy foraging.

  • A calf nurses for about two years, though it starts sampling grasses and leaves within its first few months. Full independence from the herd's support can take a decade or more.

  • Calves watch older herd members to learn which plants are safe to eat, how to use their trunks, and how to respond to danger signals. This long apprenticeship is why young elephants rarely wander far from the group.
