Recognizable,
not simply decorative.
The same hand-drawn look across the whole collection — verified against the real species, animal by animal.
“Beautiful enough to invite a closer look. Accurate enough to support real learning.”
Our animals are illustrated with the real species in mind. We look closely at body proportions, characteristic markings, feet, horns, ears, tails and the features that distinguish one species from another.
The illustrations remain warm and approachable, but they are not turned into generic cartoon animals.

Giraffe coats are covered in irregular, jigsaw-like patches separated by thin light lines, and no two giraffes share the same patch pattern. The patches act as camouflage, breaking up the giraffe's outline among trees and shifting light in the savanna.
Adult giraffes reach 4.3 to 5.7 metres tall, making them the tallest living land animal. Most of that height comes from an extremely long neck and legs, even though the neck contains only seven vertebrae, the same number found in most mammals, including humans.
A giraffe's tongue can be up to 45 centimetres long and is dark bluish-purple, which may help protect it from sunburn while it strips leaves off high branches. Both males and females also grow skin-covered horns called ossicones on top of their heads.
